The short version
Glodesk stores the data that salons, studios and clinics put into it, on their behalf and on their instructions. We do not sell data, we do not advertise to your clients, and we do not use your client list for anything except running your account.
What we hold
Account details for the business and its team, and the client records the business creates: contact details, appointment history, forms, consent records, photographs and payment history. Clinical records are visible only to the roles the business allows.
Where it lives
Data is stored in the UK, encrypted in transit, with role-based access controls and audit trails on clinical activity. Businesses can export their data in full at any time, free of charge.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for corrections, and ask for deletion. If you are a client of a business that uses Glodesk, your first port of call is that business, as the data controller; we act as their processor and will support any request they pass on.
