What to expect after treatment, and how to get the most from your results.
The first 48 hours
Most treatments need surprisingly little downtime, but the first two days matter. As a rule: keep the area clean and cool, skip the gym and the sauna, and leave make-up off injection sites until the next morning.
Every patient leaves with written aftercare specific to their treatment. If you have lost yours, or something does not feel right, contact us straight away. You will never be a nuisance.
- Mild swelling, redness or pinpoint bruising is normal
- Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements for 24 hours
- Sleep slightly elevated after filler appointments
- SPF every day, treatment or not
Aftercare questions
Wrinkle-relaxing treatments settle over ten to fourteen days. Filler is visible immediately but refines over a fortnight as swelling passes. Skin treatments build over a course.
A small bruise at an injection site is common and settles within a week. Arnica can help. If bruising is spreading, painful or accompanied by blanching skin, contact us the same day.
Yes. Injectable patients are offered a review at two weeks, included in the price. If something needs a tweak, we tweak it.
